Privacy Policy — Size Calculation

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Summary: Measuring happens entirely on your device. Camera and depth (LiDAR) frames are never saved and never leave your phone. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Your measurements leave your device in exactly one situation: you scan a company's QR code and then confirm, on a screen that lists what will be sent, that you want to send them. Nothing is sent silently and there is no setting that turns background sending on. Separately, if you answer the question "Is this close to you?", that single answer is sent to us without your measurements.

1. Who we are

Size Calculation ("the app") is published by Codeo Solutions. The app uses your device's LiDAR sensor and camera to estimate body measurements — height, chest, waist, hip, shoulder width, arm length and inseam — and to suggest clothing sizes.

We do operate servers. Earlier versions of this policy said we did not; that is no longer true, and Section 4 describes exactly what those servers hold. If you never share your measurements with a company, those servers hold nothing about you except an anonymous accuracy answer, if you chose to give one.

2. What stays on your device

Camera and LiDAR

To take a measurement the app needs camera access. Camera frames and depth data are processed in real time, in memory, on your device, using Apple's ARKit and Vision (on iPhone) or the equivalent Android frameworks:

Measurement history

After a measurement you may choose to save it. Saved records hold the date, the values in centimetres and a confidence score per value. They live in the app's own private storage on your device, where other apps cannot read them. Saving is optional and nothing is saved unless you ask for it.

Preferences

Your units, region, selected company, gender and fit preference are stored in the app's local settings and are used to calculate size recommendations.

3. What leaves your device

Three things, and nothing else.

3.1 Measurements you share with a company (only with your confirmation)

A company can put a Size Calculation QR code on its website, in its shop or on a label. When you scan that code, the app opens and — after you have a measurement — shows a confirmation screen listing exactly which values will be sent and to whom. Nothing is sent until you confirm on that screen.

What is sent:

What is not sent: your name, email address, phone number, location, device identifier, advertising identifier, or any camera or depth data. The app has no accounts, so there is no account to attach it to.

Sending the same measurement to the same company again does not create a second record. If the company's own system did not receive it the first time, we try to deliver it again.

3.2 Your answer to "Is this close to you?"

After a result the app asks whether the numbers look right. If you answer, we receive the answer itself ("accurate" or "not accurate"), the app version, your device's language and the platform (iOS or Android). Your measurements are not included and the answer cannot be traced back to you or to your device.

One exception, stated plainly: if you had just shared that same measurement with a company, the answer is also attached to that shared record, so the company can see whether the size it recommended actually fitted. In that case the answer sits next to a measurement you had already chosen to send to them.

Answering is optional. Skipping the question has no effect on anything else.

3.3 Company size charts

When you pick a company in the app, the app downloads that company's size chart from our server so it can calculate your size on your device, including while offline. This is a download only: the request carries no measurements and nothing about you.

4. What our servers hold

Our backend runs on Microsoft Azure (Western Europe) and stores data in Google Firestore.

WhatContentsWhen it is created
Shared measurement The values listed in Section 3.1, plus the company it was shared with and the time Only when you confirm a share
Accuracy answer The answer, app version, language, platform Only when you answer the question
QR scan record The time and whether the phone was iOS or Android — nothing else. No IP address, no identifier. When a company's QR code is opened
Delivery log Which company was notified, when, and whether their server accepted it When a shared measurement is forwarded to a company

We do not store IP addresses, device identifiers or advertising identifiers, and we do not build profiles.

5. Companies that receive your measurements

A shared measurement reaches the company in one or both of these ways: the company reads it from our system using its own key, or we forward it to the company's own server as soon as it arrives. Forwarding requests are signed so the company can verify they genuinely came from us.

Once a company has your measurement, it holds its own copy. What that company does with it is governed by its privacy policy, not this one. We do not control it and we cannot delete it on your behalf. Only scan a QR code belonging to a company you are willing to give your measurements to.

We do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone other than the company you chose.

6. Keeping and deleting data

On your device

On our servers

Shared measurements are kept until you or the company asks us to delete them. Write to info@codeo.com.tr with the company's name and the date of the measurement and we will delete the record. Because there is no account, that description is how we find it.

Deleting a record on our side does not remove the copy the company already holds — ask the company separately.

Accuracy answers cannot be deleted individually because nothing links them to you; that is also why they are safe to keep.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR (EU), KVKK (Türkiye), CCPA (California) and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Contact info@codeo.com.tr and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.

Our legal basis for holding a shared measurement is your consent, given on the confirmation screen; you may withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete the record.

8. Analytics, advertising and third parties

The app contains no analytics or telemetry SDK, no advertising SDK and no third-party tracking technology of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is tracked across other apps or websites. The accuracy answer described in Section 3.2 is the only product signal we collect, and it is anonymous.

9. Children

The app is not directed at children. It has no accounts, no messaging, no advertising and no user-generated content. Nothing is sent from a child's device — or anyone's — without the confirmation described in Section 3.1.

10. Security

All network traffic uses HTTPS. Company API keys are stored only as cryptographic hashes, so they cannot be read back out of our database. Requests we forward to a company's server are signed with a shared secret and a timestamp, which lets the company reject anything that did not come from us. Measurements saved on your device are protected by your device's own encryption.

11. Device backups

If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, the operating system may include the app's locally saved history and preferences in your personal backup, alongside your other app data. Those backups belong to your Apple or Google account; we have no access to them.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app or our servers handle data, we will update this page before the change takes effect and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
